Oil on canvas, board and linen give permanent ground to explore subjects that fuse reality and imagination.

Lithographs

Nature based imagery is printed in limited editions on archival paper, then hand colored with watercolor.

Water Media

Watercolor, gouache and acrylic paints are applied to paper and canvas in techniques that illuminate imaginative and nature based subjects.

Rosemary N. Swann

Rosemary N. Swann is a professional artist who draws inspiration from the world of nature and spirit. “Our world provides a continual dance of creation, from which I derive endless opportunities for the exploration of subject matter through art.”

Her body of work includes several mediums – oil on canvas, oil pastel and oil stick on paper, assemblage, lithography and water based mediums. Artisanal riches from her local environment are sometimes included in her work, such as hand carved and gold leafed panels and frames or specific fabrics.

Rosemary’s work has been exhibited in museums and galleries in the United States, Latin America and Europe and have been collected by patrons within these regions. The artwork shown in these website galleries include both collected works and works for sale.

You are invited to visit the galleries and exhibits where her work is currently on display. As of November, 2018, her works can be seen in Tyler, Texas, at Valerosa Designs & Gallery, the Robert M. Rogers Nursing & Health Sciences, Tyler Junior College, and the Ben and Maytee Fisch College of Pharmacy, UT Tyler.
